March 1, 2010 -- Algerian B Team and Olympic coach Abdelhak Ben Chikha has told Dzfoot.com that his main concern is that his team of locally based players not concede any goals on March 13th when they face Libya at home in the first leg of their two qualifying matches for the African Championship of Nations. “It’s going to be a derby and such a game is always hard to predict. We’ll try to handle them match and win it but we especially will try to avoid conceding goals. Then we’ll wait for the return leg in Tripoli,” he explained. The former Club Africain trainer, whose side will face Liechtenstein in a preparatory friendly on Wednesday, also indicated that he knew a fair amount about Libyan football but already has plans in place to get more detailed information on a side he feels is improving. “I have an idea about the team through their local championship. The majority of the players in the Libyan side play either at Ahly Tripoli or at Al Ittihad. We’re going to try to get someone to Tripoli to watch their match against Mali. One thing is certain, Libyan football is clearly progressing,” he said.
