Ali Bouziane for basketball.
Running you have Guerni and that girl that jumps (track & field). She won gold at Sydney or something. Baya Rahouli i think.

In karate we have Nasser Chareb and Abdelkader Adjal reached the 6th Dan for Chareb and the 7th Dan for Adjal.Nasser they are the first Algerians to become members of the Arab technical commission of Karate. In swimming we have Salim Iles who snatched the 100m freestyle silver medal at the World Short Course Championships years 2003 and 2004 who also reached the100m freestyle and the 50m freestyle finals in Sydney in judo we have Salima soukri 10 times African champion she ranked 4th in Sydney and Athens. In kickboxing we have 3 Algerians in different weights who are world champions. In Boxing we have the world champion mohamed benguesmia (am not sure what weight his into) in handball two clubs from Algeria reached the final of the Handball: African Champions Cup MC Alger and US Biskra. An other Algerian club ranked 3rd.
If Algerians play ice hockey, they can play anything.

Brahim Asloum is European boxing champion (WBA). He fights for France, where he is born and raised, and won an Olympic gold medal in the Sydney games. He just recently equipped 2 boxing gyms in Algeria.
