The world football governing body, Fifa, has ruled that a leading female Mexican footballer should not be allowed to play for a professional men's club.

Maribel Dominguez had signed for the Mexican second-division club Celaya which would have been a first for football in North and Central America.



However, the Fifa executive committee has said that the division between men and women in the sport should be maintained.

corse women shouldnt play with men, no matter how much skill she has who wants to put a hard tackle on a woman?

when i played junior ice hockey we had a couple of great britain internationals (womens) playing with us, ice hockey is a physical sport but i could not play physical with them, and as for the locker room situation that was just mad, i think they were lesbians anyway thats why they didnt mind walking around naked infront of us!

I hear what your saying Khoya, and I agree that the sexes should be separated. I play New Image Rugby and it too, is a physical contact sport for women. I know that some games ~ like Touch Rugby permits both men and women playing which makes one become a lot more self ~ conscious of the opposite sex on the pitch. As for sharing the same sex locker room, I didn’t think that was permitted ?

I wear my hijab, with my rugby shirt and a tracksuit bottoms, with the teams logo etc, I just have to ensure the colour of my hijab matches ~ LOL

Apologies the movie is entitled Nadia it’s a biography of a Romanian girl who is the first Olympic gymnast. After a lot of triumphs at the Games, her personal life goes downhill and she eventually manages to struggle back up again, it’s a great movie and has a good strory behind it and really good gymnastic footage.

Thin Ice is a Musical comedy about a skating instructor at an Alpine hotel and is romanced by royalty.
