My mom was champion long distance runner for her school, when she was younger so she was really pleased.
It must 'run' in the family then (Pardon the pun)

You use to run well; 6th? hope u didn’t use any doping , you must have an African blood or gin, many years ago in Kenya and Ethiopia ppl use to run enough fast to hunt a fast running Gazelles..., also they use to run much faster when attacked by Tigers , it was question of life or Death........

I play Football (Soccer) and some Self defence(Do Chotokai), in Football am defender no need for run, if any adverse is attacking too fast, I just put by foot in between his legs

No I did not get many Red carts

I reckon my mom used to dope my breakfast before the race, she probably wanted to make sure I lived up to her standards!
My ancestors are more likely to have had practise running from the law than from tigers, so I've heard from a few stories
I wouldn't mind learning self defence, as I'm too unfit to run away as fast as I used too LOL. You never know, I've heard of so many people being mugged lately.
At school we tried to start a girl's football team, but we really were useless We could never understand the rules!)
Good Luck in your sports, Fortunato. Watch out, there may be a red card with your name on!

BTW Tony Starks. I would rather run in the desert than in the cold rainy Brit weather anyday! I'm OK in the heat, I HATE the cold intensely
