    Talking Algerian U19 NT

Our Algeria U21 team have been doing well in a tournament in Qatar they beat Belarusia 1-0 & Japan 2-1 which means they are through to the next round. The team has Algerian league based players only which is encouraging it includes future star players such as Metref(USMA) & Hadj Aissa (ES Setif) for more info the link is below

Algeria tied 0-0 with Qatar in the final game (im sure they played with the bench players). They will play either Norway or South Korea in the semi's.

Algeria lost 2-1 to South Korea in the semi-finals, in extra-time. The Algerians took the lead in the 2nd half before the Koreans could equalize. South Korea scored the go-ahead goal in extra time. Algeria equalized again but the goal was refused for a non-existant offside. One player was shown the red card for contesting the call. Algeria plays the loser of Norway/Japan in the 3rd place game with the winner taking home $50,000.

Another loss in a row in the 3rd place game. Final score was 2-1 for Norway with our goal coming from Toufik Chaib.
