Algerian U-18 NT

The Algerian U18 national team has veen invited to the annual Mulhouse tournamenet which will be held on the 27th and 28th of March. The tournament will also include the Canadian U18 national team as well as local clubs including RC Strasbourg. The tournament is being held by Chabab Mulhouse, a club started by Algerians in the area.

Just 2 players from France this time around (compared to 50% the last time): Dilmi (FC Nantes) and Ichalalene (PSG). I guess the FAF is giving the locals more opportunity to progress, since the French born will get it anyway.

Algeria finish 3rd in their group with 4 points. They will play in the consolation side of the tournament.

The Algerian team beat a club team from Brazil 3-1 in the consolation quarter-finals with 2 goals from Si Kaddour and Bouazza. They will face the local team from Reze (Rayo Vallenco) in the semi's.

The team beat Rayo Vallecano 4-2 in penalties after they played to a 0-0 tie. They will face the winner of RC Lens and Jomo Cosmos (South Africa) in the consolation final.
