Beloufa Moving This Summer

Belgian club Royal Excelsior Mouscron have indicated that they will not re-sign Algerian defender Samir Beloufa when his contract ends this summer. The news comes as a suprise considering that Beloufa has been a starter for the club for the past 2-3 years. The former AC Milan defender should have no problem finding a new club in Belgium, where he has established himself as one of the top defenders. Sources say financial worries have kept the team from re-signing Beloufa, along with several other players.

National team defender Samir Beloufa has signed with Belgian 1st division side KSV Westerlo after refusing offers from a number of Belgian teams. The 26-year old turned down his former club Mouscron demanding a higher wage. Westerlo are currently 4th in the 18-team Belgian league.
