    At just 17-years old, Karim Benzema is already making scouts drool over his talent. Last week he scored 4 goals for the French Under 18 team against Slovakia in their 4-1 win. Today, he scored 2 against Toulouse in the France U18 final. Was a member of the UEFA Cup winning U17 French team along with fellow Algerians Samir Nasri and Ahmed Yahiaoui. Truly a player to watch out for.

    Benzema Signs 3 Year Contract

    Lyon striker Karim Benzema has a signed a 3-year professional contract with his club Olympique Lyon. The 17-year old played a number of times with the first team this year, and is set to make a bigger impact next year.

    Lyon 1-0 Rosenborg (Halftime)

    Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Lyon in their Champions League match against Norwegian-side Rosenborg. Benzema put the hosts up 1-0 after 33 minutes. Lyon is up 1-0 at the half.

    Are you sure that Benzema have Algerian parents? I managed Italy on FM and met Morocco in the World Cup. Guess who scored for Morocco?

    FM is sometimes off on the youngsters. He's Algerian 100%. He's mentioned it on interviews on TV and in articles.
