A couple of surprised to start the season. Didnt expect my USMA to lose 3-1 to CA Batna, who just came up from the 2nd division and have barely any money to spend. Secondly, i would never except MCA to lose 3-1 at home to ASO Chlef. ASOC has a good team but MCA are tough to beat at home, especially a season opener at 5 Juillet. FORTUNATO must be happy with MCO winning 2-1 away from home against Annaba.

Ouslati To Miss Entire Season
The Algerian National Football League (LNF) has announced that it has suspended midfielder Fahem Ouslati for signing a contract with two clubs. Ouslati signed with JS Kabylie from CR Belouizdad early in the summer. A few days later he announced that he had returned to CR Belouizdad after being pressured by CRB fans. However, a few days after that he would again reverse his decision, and stick with JS Kabylie. The 19-year old Olympic national team member will miss the entire season for JS Kabylie. The suspension will be a major blow for JSK who were looking to fill the void left by the departures of Brahim Zafour (As Saliya, Qatar), Farouk Belkaid (USM Alger) and Brahim Mezouar (CR Belouizdad).
