No it isn't, as only the first letter of each word can only be capped locked as oppose to the entire word.

the same thing happens for me... like when i put to many happy faces next to each other... it ends up looking like this "

:d:d:d:d:d".

I guess it's a default... just in case someone starts "screaming" in caps, it'll make it seem less, um, "loud"
