I am appalled that this forum is now moderated by unelected people. This takes me back to the days when the only Algerian political party (FLN) used to select a single presidential candidate and then present him to us as the messiah.

We don't know who Admin1 is as he/she has not introduced himself/herself to us. As for Khokom being a moderator, I say this takes the biscuit. Khokom cannot possibly be a moderator as he is extremely biased against people with secular viewpoints. It's like appointing Jean-Marie Lepen (French National party) to look after the welfare of the immigrants in France. Armed with some sort of delusion of grandeur bestowed upon him god knows on what criteria, Khokom has already started to act like those Iraqi collaborators bought by the American occupier for a handful of dollars.

Given the lack of transparency regarding these changes, I am therefore no longer going to continue taking part in this discussion forum.

Its quite funny you described me as iraqi collaborators. You rekon i am against secular view points? naah i never said anything like that, and did not insult you or anybody with a secular view point. I do accept how you think... i.e worldly rather than spiritually, but like i said before in a few posts... i am neither too religious no very worldly... i keep a balance and i never pull to one side too much. Thats how i am, because if i pull to one side too much i will lose the other. But bear in mind, the religious side for me is more important and i am more interested in what it offers to me. Thats just how i live, i do the basics in my religion, but i am probably more wordly than you and i never said i hate ppl who are too wordly.

Secondly, you describe me to John marie Lepen, this guy is racist. Have i been racist to anyone here? He stood up against immegrants and of course recently against muslims... have i done that? LOOL i would be more in the side of the immegrants and muslims if you think about it.

I have not acted as iraqi collaborators and never will. Those ppl love the dollar... i dont. Money is not the main thing that brings me happiness in this world... i think its pretty clear who brings me happiness and brings me money

I would ask you Commonsense to reconsider your decision regarding leaving this forum. This is not a forum where ppl fight against each other. People here exchange ideas, thoughts, opinions,...etc bearing in mind those opinions or thoughts dont offend, dont cause hatred and are sensible.

Regarding electing a moderator, first of all, i was offered this position and i did not ask to become a moderator, this was not my intention in coming to this forum, as Admin 1 will confirm this to you. I am fore elections to elect a moderator or an admin. If people here disagree with me being a moderator or are unhappy about it... they should bring this forward and discuss it with us... and its ok with me... if the majority see that i am the wrong person to moderate this section of the forum then I would pull out, its as simple as that. ok? I hope this is clear now.

I think the moderator should be Zia if she is willing to accept the post. If not, then CPDR.

I will not abandon the forum, whatever the outcome however, due to my self imposed duty, to stimulate minds to 'think outside of the box' as they say......

Awwwwwwwwww shud i be hurt by your comments zina or what exactly? This is not nuclear physics job... its just a modertator whats the big deal? If it was offered to any of you you would have all accepted and there was no voting involved.,.. i was offered this from admin and i accepted thats all there is to it. And its not like am gona make big changes... nothing will change apart from... if members like tudie continue to come here we will get them banned and thats about it. You think i am gona start changing things around here? no.. and i dont come here every day anyway...

If you think i am not the right person to be a moderator then dont say it to princess or to Mr Mean or whoever, they cant change a thing... u gota say it to Admin1... and if he wants me to leave it for someone else... i got no problems with that.

I agree with CommonSense, and reject the idea of having KhoKom as moderator of this bulletin board. We need to vote for a moderator and decide for the duration of his/her mandate.

but its ok with me anyway, whatever the majority decide and whatever Admin1 decides we'll go with it. Fair enough you think i am biased but i reckon most of you are biased in one way or other.

Besides, the Amin knows the lot of you and decided to offer it to me instead of the rest of you. Maybe you should question his decision rather than come here and all have a go at me ok? As i said, i was offered this position and went for it just like any of you would. I never had interest prior to this, but it just happened and I accepted.

Just wanted to add another thing, if any of you think they should be a moderator you can apply and speak to Admin1, no one is stopping you from doing so, since you all seem to be jelous for some reason. By the way, dont expect a salary and a BMW for becoming a moderator ok? this is by volunteering only. So there is nothing to be jelous about.
