Does anyone have any information? Local contacts that could provide English-speaking guides, buses, etc.?
I work for a Travel Company that is bringing large groups to Algeria by ship starting in November 2006. Ships will call in Annaba, for an excursion to Hippo Regius, then to Benjaia, for an excursion to Djemila, and then to Algiers, for an excursion to Tipasa.
At this point, I would like to travel to Algeria in late January or early February to research all of the above destinations. Does anyone know a company or individual who could help me out?
Thanks,
Alex

I think better to be safe than sorry regardless of the country u go to, so I would advise you go through the Algerian consulate or government, ministry of tourism. That way its in their interest to make sure your trip is a pleasent one
