    To travel in Algeria

I was looking at pics about Algeria and I must say, tehre are marvelous places there.
But...but...I was asking myself if is ok for a foreigner woman to travel there.

Excuse my ignorance about but never I've been in Algeria so I don't know nothing about it

It depends were you would like to travel to. Big cities are safe except you have to be aware of pickpokets etc....Inside the country it's better to be with a group or with a male presence. To travel alone is certainly the advice I won't give you.

I agree with Mr Meaner 1 ..I think you would be better off travelling in a group rather than on your own...there are some nice youth camps where you can stay in... from spring to summer is the best seasons I would say...you can go swimming, horse riding , fishing, etc ..depending on your hobbies and interests...

Sasha_, as I had told you on "Viaggiare", you CAN travel alone to Algeria but it's NOT advisable!

it's best to go with a tourist group or you need to know someone there who would take you out and show you around, you also need this for Visa purposes, you will not be granted a visa unless the Algerian government is convinced you will be safe in Algeria, you will be asked for an invitation in order to process your visa application unless you have a group visa with some kind of travel agency and a group of tourists.

First places to visit are major big cities: Algiers the capital, Annaba, Oran or Constantine, though I would rather visit smaller towns...either way you need at least 3 weeks to be able to see most of Algeria and have the chance to visit the Majestic Sahara .

Puoi chiedere quello che vuoi sapere
Fai attenzione. Non credere a tutti coloro che ti invitano li

Please take good care Ci sentiamo dopo...
