Hotels Algiers

I haven't been into algeria for awhile and I am wondering how it works with the hotels in the suburbs of Algiers such as SidiFrej or Zeralda ?

My questions are:
Can one pay with a credit card ?
Is there anyway to make a reservation online ? Otherwise how?
Is it safe (I mean is it a family area) ?
what are the average prices for a decent room ?
Is there any website for hotel reservation in Algeria such as expedia.com but for Algeria

I checked on Expedia.com but the prices are very expensive.
Of course Algeria deserves this but still quite expensive.

I'll try to do it anyway...

my friend is in Algeria right now and his staying at a nice hotel which is bulit just on the top of the rocks next to the beach 3* for £25 aday for him and his wife in Alger. there is always cheaper prices when it comes to less knowing hotels.

I wouldn't give'em more than zouj douro, Hotels in bled make me laugh, they're sort of expensive crap and nasty, so how much does it cost for two weeks stay? and travel and food ??

Frankly, I prefer having my hollidays somewhere else, and go to bled just for a family visit, twice a year is enough for me....
