well it depends on why the parents (dad) is disaproving... if it's because of dumb reasons, (like the color of her hair or her major), then it won't be haram... but if the person that she wants to marry is some big time haram lover, and she still marries him even if her parents (dad) said no (for good reasons) then that's haram....
