Thread: Dress - split

    What is the best size for a split at the back of a straight dress - should it be about 12inches or longer?

    hello Rucks

    I think it depends on the dress, if it's long then 12-14 inch (just below the back of the knees hight)
    and if it's short then 3-4 inches.

    Snow white - thanks. i said to the designer 12 inches - which she agreed and thought would be best for me, but i think it may need to go up to 14 inches - i'll just have to wait and see now!

    Crikey no, a straight dress with only a 14 inch split. You'll walk like a penguin. You'll need a longer split, to walk and sit comfortably.
