In some remote hill tribes of Indian Himalayas,
a woman is allowed to marry more than one man.
The reason is shortage of women.
Is it allowed in Islam..?
Is it in practice..?

Only one country in the world provides 30% reservation for the oppressed
in all educational institutions from elementary school to doctorate studies,
and 30 % job reservation in all government jobs.
They have to pay a maxm. of 5% of normal fees paid by others,
for all courses including engineering & medical courses.
The threshold mark for entry is also less.
Additionally there is a 20 % reservation for backward classes.
That country is India, the largest democracy in the world.
It is equivalent to 50% reservation of seats in
Stanford, Oxford and all other schools and universities in UK, France.. Europe,
for the underprivileged such as the Blacks, Algerians, Spaniards, Mexicans & other coloreds..!
At 10% of the fees paid by whites.!
And reservation of jobs in Govt departments..!
Do you have it..?
People do not understand caste system and use it as a beating stick, with abysmal ignorance.
Since this is not the right thread for that,
I will revisit the subject in some other appropriate thread later.
People living in glass houses should not throw stones outsides..!
