In her new book, leading feminist Catharine MacKinnon argues that women are still treated more like "things" than people. She talks to Stuart Jeffries about her war on pornography - and whether men and women can ever really connect....
"......roughly the same number of women are murdered by men in the US each year as were killed in the Twin Towers (between 2,800 and 3,000). But those killings provoked no parallel war on terror....."

I don't agree completely with you girls.
I don't believe in the power of feminism-movement. There's no solution in writing or reading sociological books with titles 'Are women human?'. We/women should't wast our time by asking our selves: are we just objects... We should be successful in our jobs, we should go in public life, talk louder. Men will always treat us as sexual objects... but to be honest: there's no woman in the world who doesn't want to look beautiful/sexy.
