    Dead Sea

Are we (Muslims) allowed to use products from the Dead Sea- stuff like mud masks etc etc? I ask because i thought under that sea are remains of some community that were perished because of their sins.

Please let me know - cheers!

    Sorry, but I don't think it's harram.
Isn't everything from the sea halal, including eating sharks!
If the product is Israeli then I won't buy it just because I don't want to support their economy and make them stronger, but that is as far as would go.

I find it hard to believe that god is not going to allow the use of a natural resource (which he created) just because it's on the wrong side of the border (which we created ourselves)....hope this helps.

apparently we are not allowed to use the products because the land has been cursed - i guess i'll continue with my search. about the economy thing, i guess we all pay towards israel in one way or another - but its good discipline if we can stick to our principles
