I do color my hair but i dont during Ramadan Until it is over because someone said (a few years back ) that the skin can absorb the color which is makrouh . not sure now . but as im getting older i can not afford to wait one month to color my hair ( i dont like henna it smells funny and the color is not my favourite )

what about Lipstick ? I dont wear lipstick during the day but i have noticed most Speakers on Arabic channels do wear lipstick during Ramadan , what s the story ? thanks for your replies .

    Hello Nesrine

For your hair why dont you do it at night after iftar ?
I worked in salons in Algeria and here and we have the most religious girls and they still colr their hair while fasting , I dont know if it is haram or hallal though .These women do come when they are fasting
Now Lipstik Allahou a3lam but if you put lipstik on your lips , as you wipe your lips , with your tong , you will have some of it come in to the mouth and of cource get swalowed , so better not .

I personally avoid lipstik during the day , or if I have an important meeting or something then I'll put it ma3a el imsak , but I wipe it soon as I'm done .
    But again Allahou a3lam

yeah, those women confuse me... they go on tv talking about islam -- and they're *really* flashy... I guess it's because the camera makes an un-made up face look really pale and sick .... dunno really...

U don't like the henna color? (well neither do i, but it doesn't show for me) Yes, it is REALLY stinky, but for me it goes away after a good scrub... I only do henna to strengthen my hair cuz doing it for the color is useless lal sha3r al aswad....

First of all , if these women are on Islamique tv , there are many tricks to make em look great without too much make up , it is ramadan , so they can defenetly use less makupe if they are representing the muslim woman . I'm a makeup artiste and we did natural makeup it is easy to do . Just look at some English american or french anchors they dont have tons on their faces , plus the young ones dont have to think that they can be with a hidjab or even without, and have pablo picasso on their faces .
I just think for muslim tv it is rediculous sorry.
