Expecting a child - when to announce???

Hello,

Me and my fiance (the wedding will be in February) are expecting a child. I'm very happy, but I think we should keep this information just for ourselves at least 3 months. My fiance disagree. He tells this news to every person he knows. He tells me that is very immoral because I want to be quiet...Who's right? When to tell??

You are perfectly entitled to keep quiet, if that is your wish, but as your fiance has been telling people it might be the case that people will ask you a direct question. If that happens you should simply confirm the fact, there would be no sense in denying it as your fiance has already confirmed it. You don't have to do any announcing if you don't feel that that is the right thing for you to do.

yes, I'm going to confirm the fact, if some of his friend ask me (but they simpley congratulate).... But he want that I announce in my job. I work in Ministry and I can't simpley tell news e.g. to Minister, Secretary...They are my coworkers not friends. And we (me and my fiance) are working in different cities.

Not every woman feel sick during preganancy. Some women glide through thoose 9 months with no sickness at all. You're probarbly one of thoose lucky ones.

Good luck, why not tell it a month after the marriage? i'm sure some persons definately would expect that news.
