Now seriously...yes it matters. But maybe not to everyone. I do find big age gaps weird, I really do. But I spose that people of different ages could find love. I think the genuine ones would be an exception to the rule. A few years sure, maybe a bit more if it's the man who is older. But really that is just my opionion personally because I think that in Islam we have already seen that marriages with age gaps can be genuine and can work, there are examples.

I"m a bit funny about child marriages however...I mean really, they should be getting an education, not married off.
