    Algerian dating/courting traditions?

    Hello!

I am a Christian Australian, and I have recently met a lovely Algerian man who I have started to date.

Are there any Algerian traditions I should be aware of following during courting/dating? Is there anything an Algerian girl would normally do for a man when she is interested in him like cooking a certain meal etc?

Obviously I do not mean anything in the bedroom (much to his dislike I am insisting he wait for that)!!!

Just follow your nose. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. You will find some Algerians who would never even consider dating for religious reasons, with others who are more Westernised. Looks like you have the latter.

Algerian men like to be pampered and looked after , that s how you show your affection . Making a special meal for him would definitely be a good idea . i m algerian but i did not have much experience with Algerian men as my husband is indian but i think i have an idea about my countrymen .

Nesreen, Indian men also like to be pampered and looked after.

Maybe the Americans and the British like to be left alone.

Tell me about it ! but im not the type to make fresh chapattis daily ! but he was a spoilt child to start with , in his comfortable home they had a cook and servants and he played sports and joined clubs and then i met him and spoilt him rotten , i wish i never did , because now it is difficult to change him . but im not complaining , he is a good decent loving husband and father .
