Plz explain...

Hello,I am Polish citizen and I have an Algerian friend.He lives in USA since almost over 2 years and is green card holder. I would like to know how in smallest details the matter of his comming to Poland even for short visit looks like.And how about him trying to find job in Poland,what formalities we both need to deal?I know he needs visa to come here,but would like to know also more on this topic? Maybe somebody of u had same experiences? I will be grateful for any explanation,and maybe some of u has ideas how to make those things easier and faster?If u may help me some in those topics I would be tully gratefull.

I don't know how the immigrant system works in Poland, but when you file for him to get a visa, there is a lot of 'research' involved for his background. After you give the Poland immigrant center all information about him, then they will choose either to accept or deny him a visa to go there.

and if this guy has an american green card, he can't leave the US for a time span of more than a year. or else his green card will get taken from him.

Also, I herd from a close friend of mine, who's husband had a green card for 3 years and they've been waiting for citizenship, that it's a little difficult to leave the country with a green card because chances are America won't let him back in until he attains citizenship.

I'm not too sure why there's a problem like that. But let him research it. see if it's safe to leave the country with his green card and if the chances of coming back are still good.
