    Well it turns out he lied to me. It's not a big lie, but for me that's not the point. He lied to me about something for more than a year and made a conscious effort to stop me from finding out the truth. So now I feel like I can't be with him because I can't trust him. He hid the truth very well so what else is he hiding? I'm not willing to wait until we're married to find out... So it's over In my opinion, relationships are nothing without trust.

    Shame. If the lie was about the visa then I think that may be expected, not many people with certain immigration statuses will tell the truth at first, especially over the internet.
