oooh...that reminds me that I DO already have my own "Mr. Right" in my life. I met him the old fashioned way, through the introduction of a very good friend, and he showed up looking his best and saying sweet things, like, "As always, you're right!" He charmed me, courted me, asked me to dance, and brought me flowers. In return I made all his favorite foods, made him feel like a superstar (especially on Mondays), and gently nurtured him when he just needed TLC. When I didn't quite understand him, I could figure it out from his 32-page owner's manual.
But alas, he never did meet my parents, and now he's living rent-free in the back corner of one of my drawers; yet every so often we cordially share a dinner and I talk to him for hours as he is truly an excellent listener.
