I don't like beauty contests for little girls
I think about that Jon Benet Ramsay case in Boulder, CO and how she was on 'display' in that manner. Call me conservative with little kids, but I don't approve of putting such young little girls on display that way.
They should be in school, and playing with dolls and having fun. When I was a little girl I would play with food and pretend to cook and play with my dolls and to color and draw and write little stories. I would not have been allowed to do those things.
My sister wanted to go sailing around the world at 16 years old with a crew of all males and the captain was from Copenhagen. My father said "NO!". My sister would ask why, and he said, "You are too young to be alone on some ship with a bunch of men at your age. And without a father or someone to protect you. Forget about it." Call me old fashioned but if I had a beautiful little girl I would love to dress her in pretty clothes and do her hair and all that...but put her on 'display' like that. I don't approve. Too young. If she wanted to do other things as an older and adult young woman say at 18? That is fine. As a young little cute little girl like those lovely little girls....in the video. No.
That little girl in the blue and white. It looks like my photos from childhood. They look so pretty! Such precious little jewels little daughters are! Let them have a sheltered and protected childhood.
Is that video about a fashion show? About little girls' fashions? Not a beauty contest? What is controversy? I don't understand what they are saying? Is that popular to do as a little girl activity?
