Divorce procedure....

Can anyone give me advice on what the process is for divorcing an Algerian man? We were married in January this year in Draria, Algiers and we are seeking a divorce. I am english and reside in the UK, he is in Algeria.

The marriage certificate wasn't lodged at the FCO nor the GRO here in the UK. The ex is playing silly bugg**s so im not sure what i should be doing. I dont really want to lodge the marriage certificate in the UK if i can help it.

I would have thought it would be much easier to get a divorce since you didn't lodge it, I don't see how lodging in the UK would help at all.
