    Oh no, by Shalwars are long , above the knee with a long split on either side, so would look better in trousers, not so keen on skirts, unless the Shalwar is short ~ hip length that is.

    The whole bohemiem, folklore look is in now, long gypsy skirts, big accesories, just loving all the colours.

    I do too

    Okay, shalwar is usually to the knees with slits up the sides to the waists or hips. I wear long skirt under mine I only have one but I want more.

    Oh khoya, One of those Sari's would be even cooler if she converted it to a Caftan/ Tachitats. I have 2 made from Sari marterials with the whole gold embroidery in cream and Salmon colour.

    This is very traditional, and I like the cloak too, and the pastel colours are very simple. What do you think, or am I just talking to myself ??????????????????

    i like it

    it's similar to my sisters wedding kaftan
    plus it's traditional to have the see through over garment nowdays
