    Salam ~ Bambi ~

    You know what ?

I’m seriously in the wrong profession ~ lol

I always wanted to study textiles & fashion , I have the ideas just not the capability of sticking fabric together ~lol

Yes, I can now see the Kabylie dress.

Do you have any pics, that your average Algerian girl would wear to a wedding/celebration etc ?

Houda, SHUKRAN for the great pics and starting this thread. Heah, why don't we have a beauty section here, as M.com?

Lofti, I am glad you didn't pay attention to the 'women only' header, b/c those dresses and accesories are very pretty. Some women will like more, or less, detail in their mode of dress; but nonetheless it's all up to the individual. I have the Algerian "balloon pants" with the slits on the side, and some of the traditional jackets whose original origins are from Constantine, altough the velvetten material is shipped primarily from Italy or Germany, believe it or not. I just have to express that the detail in Algerian embroidery is by far the most gorgeous I've ever laid eyes on.

    wa salam
