    There is a solution!

    Hi BB,

I will answer this question for you! But I warn you - it takes patience and hard work to fix this problem. But it is worth it!

    1. You must let all the hair grow out and let all the problem spots heal completely. This will take a few weeks so you must be willing to live with the hair for awhile.

    2. NEVER NEVER NEVER shave with a metal blade!!!! And don't wax, only on special occasions. Use only an electric shaver. The shave is not as close - but the reason that you are getting the ingrown haris is because the shave is too close and the skin is irritated - but there are some good ones out there, I use the Lady Remmington.

    3. Get the gel called "Bikini Zone" it is in the area where the ladies shaving cream is. I use it everywhere, I probably and keeping the company in business right now!!!!

Legs - Use a loofa to remove dead/dry skin BEFORE you shave! Then shave with the electric shaver. I use the Bikini Zone gel on the backs of my thighs - because I will tend to get some ingrown hairs there.

Bikini Area - ONLY the electric razor. And lots and lots of the Bikini Zone gel.

Under Arms - Again - only the electric razor, then the Bikini ZOne gel. Also I like to use a deoderant with a moisturizer in it. My underarms look great and are not dry, discolored, or irritated at all.

Face - (I only have to do my brows) I use Nad's for that, it's like a wax, but natural ingredients) and then I dab a little of the bikini zone gell on my brow where I removed the hair.

So - there you go!!! It takes more preparation than soap and razor in the shower - but you will be much much happier with the results.
I don't think that you could pay me to ever use a metal blade razor again!!!!!!

    Only Men?

    Hi Sweet Pea,

No, not only men. I wish! My skin is very sensitive. So if I am not careful with it, I will have problems.
But really, I know more than a few women with this problem. It all comes down to how you take care of yourself. If you are willing to put in the time - it will not be an issue anymore.

BTW - Most men who get this problem - are shaving with a razor blade. That is the culprit for men and women!
