Funny the way we think differently, I meant they don't wanna figure out they are cheating aka lying to them although they most likely don't wanna face it when their parteners cheat but that's another story in which i have no expertise

Why do we want love? may be because we fear loneliness?
why do we want love so badly that we are initially willing to do anything for it when we find someone who we love and who loves us back? its like something we feel we must have...

Arranged marriage doesn't necessarily mean loveless.
Love marriage doesn't necessarily mean happy marriage.

You make your own happiness in this world. Give people a chance when you meet them. Where does it say that you have to fall head over heels immediately? It's nice when it does happen but hands up who has fallen for someone only for it to end for whatever reason If you don't like whoever your parents arrange/introduce/whatever then refuse outright. They may shout, but ultimate they'll forget (sooner or later).

However, no marriage should be forced. If anyone's parents try to force them, throw the 'Haram' card at them. That should work. If that doesn't, show them up by refusing in front of the registrar at the Mosque. They'll never do it again
