    JAK ~ for posting this article Khti ~Amina ~,

    I think the point of the article is to highlight the EXPLOITATION of the winner ~who happened to be Muslim ~ as a so~called example of integration and multiculturalism. I'm sure she didn't intend to get embroiled in the whole clash of civilisations issue.

    We must be doing something seriously wrong though, if Miss Kohistani feels that a beauty pagent is the way to "liberate the oppressed" women, and not by pioneering some sort of academic research.

    What message is being sent to the muslim youth if they feel that by removing the "veil" is the way to liberation?

    What begs the question is WHY is everyone after the hijab and covering?

    As if you have to be naked to deliver your best! I think, we as a community {Muslim Ummah} have ourselves to blame for the misguided opinion of Kohistani
