I lost interest a long time ago
Assalamualaikum sister,
lol I completely ignore everything to do with elections. I think the last I voted was back in 2006 I think and that was for lib dems don't why I can't even remember. I've become very sceptical when it comes to politicians they just seem like a bunch of puppets to me. But all I know about elections this time round is that cameron wants to take a tough stance on immigration.
How about you?

wasalaamu alaikum serenity i hope you're well.
I've never ever voted in my whole entire life! i never was interested when i was younger, but now that I've become a mother and there is an under current of hostility towards muslims, i think maybe now i need to vote.
I was thinking about the Lib Dems too, i don't think british muslims should vote for labour or conservatives (as both voted to invade iraq, current government involved in torture of suspects, body scans, terror legislation, e-borders scheme etc etc). Maybe the Green Party?
I think voters in tower hamlets should not vote for the respect party, because that charming George Galloway hasn't done anything for them. That place is a shambles.
I'm still thinking about it, although I do like Gordon Brown
