SNTF Algeria - The Final Diesel Hauled Alger Suburban service [01:02]
040 DJ 09 propels the 1805 Thenia to Alger service out of Agha station, running (typically) 58 minutes late on Thursday 30 December 2010. This was the final Alger suburban service to be worked by a diesel locomotive. From the following day all the Banlieue services were operated by Stadler Flirt EMUs.

SNTF Algeria 060 DH 01 and 040 DJ 14 [03:52]
The 1430 Blida to Alger departs from Caroubier station in the outskirts of Alger. The push-pull train is being driven from the front, with loco 040 DJ 14 on the rear. Additional loco 060 DH 01 has been added to the extreme rear of the train as a positioning movement. Leaving Caroubier it is the 060 DH on the rear which takes power, with the 040 DJ only cutting in part way through the journey to Hussein Dey station. This was recorded on Thursday 30 December 2010, which was the final day of the Algers Suburban services being operated by diesel traction.
