    I made this for the first time earlier this month. My husband refused to taste it. He is from the East and they do not eat it there. I ate it with some harissa and my son ate a little bit. Its nice but now I have nearly 2 lbs of leftover besan flour and have to find some way to use it. Maybe I will make Socca.

      In Oran i loved this in a baguette with Harissa.
      (I am addicted to Harissa and can eat a big can in 2 days on my own)

        Harissa is a real treat in SA only because yo cannot find it in stores. The only time we get it is if one of dh's friends comes from Algeria with a few cans.

        Absolutely love it!
